I was looking forward to our stay here, had high hopes as we have drove by before and always thought it looked like a fun place to stay. When we arrived (relatively late 10pm), the check in was fine. We went to our room and it looked as though someone stopped cleaning midway- the couch cushions were on the floor for the pull out sofa, the kitchen floor was sticky, like could hear it every time you moved your feet. But yet, the towels had been fixed up like it was clean? The trash can in the bathroom was even on top of the toilet and all the bathroom vanity drawers were pulled out. Maybe someone cleaned and someone else was supposed to come by and inspect but never did? I don't know but it felt incomplete and the kitchen floor was just nasty sounding and feeling. I wouldn't walk around without shoes on. I tried to call the front desk but there was no directions to get ahold of the desk on the phone and with it being late I resigned to dealing with it for the short duration. Again, I had wanted to like it, really did but I was not happy with the cleanliness of the room. Staff was pleasant anytime there were interactions but again short stay, maybe we just had a one off bad experience.

Beautiful place. Amazing views. I would stay here every time. The property owners were very nice and answered any questions I had. They made sure I was taken care of. If you are in pigeon forge or gatlinburg, stay here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ashridge at Smith Creek Resort exceeded every expectation! If you’re looking for an upscale getaway in the Smoky Mountains, this is it. The resort truly has everything you could want. The pool and lazy river are absolutely incredible and create the perfect place to relax, while the cabins are beautifully designed, luxurious, spacious, and equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. One of the best parts is the location. You’re only about 6 minutes from grocery stores and everyday essentials, and within 10 minutes of restaurants, dinner shows, shopping, Dollywood, and plenty of places to pick up souvenirs. Even downtown Gatlinburg is only about a 23-minute drive away, making it easy to enjoy everything the Smoky Mountains have to offer without staying in the middle of the crowds. What impressed me most was how versatile this resort is. During our stay, we saw family reunions, bachelorette parties, church groups, couples, and families with children all enjoying themselves. There truly is something for everyone. Whether you’re planning a weekend escape, a family vacation, or a large group gathering, Ashridge at Smith Creek Resort is the perfect destination. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!
